"I ordered flowers a week in advance through FTD on Valentine's Day. Hyvee was the florist FTD chose to use. 1:58PM Today: I get a text message from doordash about someone going to pick up my order. 2:26PM I get another message saying that my doordash order has been canceled and to contact the local florist. I'm at work, so I can't just drop everything to waste time on a call to find out what is going on. 2:50PM The frustration builds, so I call the florist and am on hold for most of the call. The call lasted 13 minutes and 6 seconds, just so they can tell me that they'll be delivering the flowers. 6:02PM I receive an email from FTD that my order is out for delivery. 6:30PM I receive another email from FTD saying my order has been delivered. No flowers were delivered. 7:12PM I contact the floral department at Hyvee. They're closed. 7:45PM FTD chat support tells me to wait until 8pm before I ask for a refund because some florists send a delivery confirmation as the drivers are still out delivering. Why would you say you've done something if you hadn't yet done it? According to FTD, that's why Hyvee does. Why not just stick with the original doordash plan? It's 8:18PM Flowers not yet delivered. FTD failed and Hyvee failed today. I've wasted my entire evening over this."
