"It’s a super cute store with a lot of plant options, however, they have very inconsistent hours - it feels like they open and close when they want. Many times I’ve driven there during normal business hours and they’re closed, which is frustrating for customers and makes it hard to support their business."

"Came to Ottawa prepared to buy new house plants. Girl working grabbed the plant out of my hand saying this is not for sale. Plants mixed in with prices with some that are not. Both plants I picked were plucked from me and my daughter telling us not for sale. Very confusing and rude. I absolutely love Gardens Gate and have purchased quite a bit each season. I'm afraid I am too embarrassed and hurt to return Actually left and found a beautiful plant at Aldi after that because my soul intention that day was to find joy in houseplants"

"My friends and I visited this store and while it had some nice plants, we didnt buy what we wanted to. The lady working was not friendly or helpful at all. Never asked us if we were looking for anything or EVEN a hello. It was magnified by other people that came in after us that she was the complete opposite with. The only difference in them and us was melanin ... We are collectively spending our money where we are welcomed the same..."
