"Friendly staff, but cannot assist with any AT&T Prepaid plan questions you may have. Though they tried to tell me that I could switch from prepaid to a contract program to get a better rate. However when I compared what I pay to any contract plans available, it was clear I currently have the far more economical setup."

"I visited the AT&T store in Carlinville, IL, with the intention of purchasing a replacement iPhone. Upon entering, I found myself unattended, as no one approached to inquire if I needed assistance or informed me about the expected wait time. Despite patiently waiting for almost an hour on January 5, 2024, during which three women were on duty, the service remained unresponsive. Two of the employees were engaged with customers—a couple and a mother with her son—while the third employee seemed to be assisting others minimally. Seeking assistance, I inquired about purchasing a phone, only to be told that someone would be with me shortly. Frustrated with the prolonged wait, I decided to leave and headed to the Litchfield branch. Despite the busy atmosphere, I was promptly approached, efficiently purchased an iPhone, and completed the transaction within 30 minutes—half the time I had spent waiting at the Carlinville location."

"I went into store, paid my cell phone bill. After I left I received a call from that store manager telling me that I had stolen his cell phone, I told him that I didn’t have his phone and that I would stop back in. I stopped back in and he falsely accused me of stealing his phone and that he was going to call the police and press charges on me and kicked me out of the AT&T Store. He did call police which the police asked me to empty my pockets which I did…no cell phone. Beware the manager is a strange one and if you stop in he might falsely accuse you of stealing his phone as well…BEWARE!"
