"We have been loyal customers of Durclean for over 15 years, and they have consistently provided excellent service. However, our recent experience has been disappointing. We had a scheduled appointment for our carpets to be cleaned today between 8 and 9:00 in the morning. At 8:30, we received a call informing us that both drivers for their trucks had tested positive for Covid-19. Understandably upset, we were told the earliest they could reschedule was March 5. When I attempted to discuss the situation with the owner, I was met with a condescending attitude from the scheduler which further added to my frustration. Given that we had planned this appointment in advance due to having guests visiting , the inconvenience of rearranging our schedule, having to move furniture in four rooms and waiting until after March 5 for the service was highly frustrating. As someone who works in the service industry myself, I was taken aback by the lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by Stephanie, the coordinator we interacted with. While we have encountered scheduling issues in the past, which were ultimately resolved to our satisfaction, Stephanie's handling of this situation has led us to reconsider our continued patronage of Durclean. Customer service should always be a top priority, and one negative incident like this can tarnish a customer's perception of a business."
