"The owner is a great guy my dog always seems happy when I pick him up"
"Used this place based on reviews and it was close to home. Was really excited due to the owner telling me all about his 40 plus years of experience with dogs. Dropped him off for 5 days of boarding. Picked him up in a hurry and didn’t realize it till I got home but my dog was really beat up, bloody, skinny, and had feces on him. He needed immediate care. Extremely disappointed. Definitely not what I expected Never again!"
"Left my dog here for a an extended stay and while the operator seemed decent and attentive enough the facility left much to be desired. We were never shown the back area where our dog was kept and after returning home our dog had issues with feeding and seemed stressed though I am unable to directly attribute this to the care she received. We had a haircut for our dog and the haircut was without a doubt the worst haircut my dog had ever had including the times i cut the dogs hair myself during covid. The cut was very spotty with many sections not trimmed properly and the face especially was uneven. I do not see us ever returning to Apolda Kennels."
