"The glass coffin was great when it was in just some little house and had a lot of amazing oddities to see. I loved going there in the past and I miss it. Since they have moved off 35 I am unsure if it is the same owner but everything has gone downhill. Almost everything displayed in their store is all things you can find online, they are not unique, you may as well go shopping at Spencer’s, or better, yet shop online because they have similar items (if not the same) for a fraction of the price at the glass coffin. There are plenty unique shops in Austin, that I would rather go to, don’t waste your time."
"I enjoy the amount of effort and care that the proprietor has put into creating this unique lair. I particularly appreciate that Joey highlights local artists and creators in what his store carries. His outdoor events are always a delight to the senses."
"Perfect for all things spiritual, spooky and weird. Came here for my besties birthday and she loved it. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. They do have a locker system for your bags to prevent stealing and there’s cameras everywhere- which I loved because it really helps you understand the importance of small businesses taking care of each other. 10/10 would recommend for all my dark and magical people"
"Very gothic and cute. I really liked the decorations and the tea sections. I wanted to buy some mugs but I couldn’t. I bought vanilla earl grey tea which has cornflower in them. I wish they open longer. They also have museum and other stores opened next door. Definitely going back"
