"We are listing our house for sale and wanted a thorough deep cleaning to make the house look perfect for pictures and real estate agents. I contacted several services, but decided on Austin All Maids based upon my conversations with Jake a well-spoken young man that listened well and communicated back what I had said were my key points... heavy cleaning of base boards, lower walls, kitchen and bathroom. We recently had our carpets steam cleaned and our wood floors are kept up so there was limited need for typical house work. He said that they work in crews of 3 and thought that 3 or max 4 hours would be sufficient. They arrived on time, but spoke no English at all. They seemed to know what they were doing, so I worked in my office for a half hour. I went back to check and one of them said that a bathroom was done. It looked terrible, I mean absolutely and totally unacceptable (still showed toothpaste, etc.). I showed her how to clean it and then watched her clean it properly. This one person did a great job, but it took her 6 hours to clean 4 and a half baths. The other two spent time on walls and base board. After 3.5 hours they called to say that they needed more time. They expected at least another 2 hours. How much per hour? $29 For $29 per person ($87 for a team of 3) I would expect someone that can clean at a commercial caliber, which these woman were not, and an English speaking project manager that is on site. In the end, 3 people were here for 6 hours at $29 = $522 plus tax and the house looks clean but not even close to my expectations."
