"Cancelling our service today, we used Morehands for about 7 months in total. Cancelling for three primary reasons, this was our own personal experience: 1. The arrival times are inconsistent, they could come 2-3 hours before or after the scheduled time. The text updates do help, but if you don't WFH it's hard to predict when you need to be home. If you do WFH and plan calls around the time they will be at your house, it does disrupt your day when they're not on time. There was a case where they were 1.5 hours late and I had to contact customer service. They were extremely nice and apologized, but nothing was said about the delayed time until I contacted them. 2. Probably the most frusturating: I always have to clean or put things back after they leave, with the first time being the exception when a woman came in after they cleaned to check the work (assuming since we were new customers). After they've left I've had to: re-mop the floors because their footprints were on them. I've had to vacuum entire rooms because there is still dirt on the floor after they mop. The last straw was they cleaned the shower and there was still noticeable black mold...I used some bleach and got it off myself. At the price point they charge, no reason for that. We rather pay more with a consistent clean of the house than having to clean after the maids leave. The maids also use their personal vaccums and supplies. I was originally fine with this until I noticed pet hair all over our couch from the vacuum and we don't own a pet/haven't had any over. 3. It seems the longer we've used their service, the worse the cleaning and professionalism has gotten. The maids were here cleaning the house for a total of 24 minutes today-originally they were here for 45 minutes to an hour. Today while I was working, they played music and were laughing and talking loud throughout the house while I was working. People are human, but the polite thing to do is possibly wear headphones if they want to play music while working. If we're paying for the service, they should be more respectful of our time and environment. Due to all of this, we're finding a new maid service. Hope other people had better experiences."
