He wore converses and Hawaiian shirts everyday, and she incorporates his style with each arrangement. Each year I take her a different color pair of shoes and she builds them into a tropical themed arrangement. No two arrangements have looked alike, yet each one takes my breath away. We receive numerous compliments on the beauty of the centerpieces, and the converses are a precious reminder to us and our church members who watched him grow up. She handles his shoes in a respectful way, leaving them just as he left them, usually the laces are untied and hanging. Sara puts a tremendous amount of thought and creativity into these arrangements. Her floral design, presentation and service is her ministry, and she shines Jesus’s love through her work.
