"I was towed by them on Sept 28th and was told I could ride in my truck while it was being towed ...which is illegal and against the law ... The also quoted me $550.00 for port to port which it was a hour and a half total job charged $3,000.00 before the wrecker even got to the dealership and said if we didn't pay before they got to the destination that they would impound the truck at there location.... DO NOT USE THIS TOWING COMPANY.... I WILL BE TALKING TO MY ATTORNEY Monday morning"
"Words cant describe how horrible this company is. Johnnys was bought out by priority wreckers service and they are a COMPLETE SCAM! Was quoted $195 as my vehicle was being towed 20 min away and was told driver would be there in 40 minutes. 3HOURS LATER driver finally gets there and tows my vehicle. After numerous calls back and forth from random in and out of state numbers i get the last call from Samantha who explains that i owe them over $600 for 3 hours! After losing my mind over this she recants and charges me for 2 HOURS! $460 for a 20 min tow after waiting 2 and a half hours passed the eta. Then she explains that they only accept zelle or cashapp and other electronic forms of payment. And it makes complete sense why! Scam artists use those outlets to ensure they dont get charges reversed after scamming unsuspecting consumers! I asked for information to contact upper management and was told they were out of town so i wasnt going to be given anything. It was even insinuated that if i kept talking about leaving bad reviews that my price would be raised again...appalling! BUYER BEWARE!"
"I would stay as far away as possible from this company. They charged me over $3,002 for stacking 1 semi trailer on top of another. Their office is 5.2 miles from where service was preformed. And yet they used the excuse that the heavy wrecker was not at this location and they had to send a unit from over 38 miles away. What should of been a simple $500-$750 max bill ended up being over $3,002 Than the driver had the nerve to tell my truck driver that he had to pay him as well after I had sent a copy of the paid receipt to him showing the bill was paid. To make matters even worse. They were dispatched on the call at 3:00 PM and did not show up till 6:32 PM. The wrecker was not even on the job for 1 complete hr. when the office was calling me and demanding payment. I was in the middle of putting my baby girl to bed and the office stated that they would charge me even more if I did not pay the bill right away. I have my call log screen shot and the emails with a picture of the service they preformed to prove my statement. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY and PRIORITY WRECKER SERVICE INC there parent company. You have been warned!!!!"
"Awful service. We normally use West & Sons, but they were busy this morning. If you're here looking for service, call W&S first. My guy called in the am to get our forklift moved from Morris to Addison. We gave them dimensions and weight and were told $195/hr - and the driver would be there in about an hour. 3.5 hrs later they picked up the forklift. Another 1.25 hr later they delivered our forklift to Addison. They charged us $1,806.17 ... $375/hr + fuel surcharges + 4% credit card fees (which is illegal unless their actual credit card fees are 4% - which is doubtful given that they use the same company as we do, which charges us 3.2%). The higher hourly rate was suppedly because they had to send a bigger truck- which is odd given that they provided us the hourly rate based on the dimensions we provided. CRAZY!!! West & Sons charged us $550.00 for dropping off the forklift. Btw. driver was nice and all. Wasn't his fault he works for this company."
"Very friendly and service was good when they came. I was told they would be there in an hour. After 1 hour I called and was told they were almost there. 20 minutes later I called again and was told they were minutes away. 1.5 hour total time they showed up. The charge was a sticker shock at $195 for less than a mile of towing. Their business was less than 2 miles from the stalled car. They also wanted cash even though I gave my credit card number when I called the business. They had a beautiful colorful truck. At those prices, they can afford beautiful trucks. The total service time from showing up to drop off at new location was less than 20 minutes. That's $585 per hour. Problem was that I had no choice."
