"ITeach did prepare me for certification in Louisiana, though it was not a perfect experience. Ultimately, it was the cheapest way to get certified and it did what it said it would do, so they deserve credit for that. That said, I did think their billing department was unhelpful at times and certain things were not as clear as they should be. All considered, I have mentored teachers in iTeach now and I was certified in the program and I can say it generally was pretty good in most ways."
"I am conflicted. On one hand, iteach has been VERY helpful with me while getting my certification. However, they HAVE NOT BEEN helpful when it comes to how you are paying. The payments once you enter Field Experience will essentially bankrupt me. I will not have the money or the means to pay for food for my literal child. I am trying to make ends meet, and paying close to $350-375 a month for a certification program is going to make this even worse. iTeach is a decent program, but they HAVE GOT to figure out easier ways to help a group of people who are ALREADY underpaid."
"If I could give negative stars I would. I have been in this program for nearly 4 months and have gotten nowhere. Four months and $1000 later, I am transferring to a different program. Staff is very rude and extremely unhelpful. When I expressed my disappointment about all of the issues I was having, caused by their staff giving me incorrect information, I was met with lies and excuses. I am shocked that these are the people in charge of training our future teachers. I could go on and on about why you should avoid this program, but it's not worth it. I'm done wasting my time. Don't waste yours, go to a different program!!"
"EDIT after iTeach Response: I find it very telling that every response from iTeach to anyone with a problem is sarcastic and rude. As teachers of teachers, this doesn't model what anyone would expect to see in a classroom and therefore, has no place here. It simply further demonstrates the lack of care, breech of confidentiality of several students and abrasive approach that you will experience through them. Teachers of Tomorrow, which I have started, on the other hand, has interactive content, videos where you make observations about what is effectively done by certified teachers, as well as getting an inside look at their classrooms and practice. There is no need for iTeach to be unprofessional with the ways that people share their struggles with the program. The refusal to listen and make meaningful changes speaks volumes about this program. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Original Post I have a disability that requires accommodations that iTeach refused to even try working around. I am concerned about how the program can prepare teachers for students’ accommodation needs when they can’t find a way to work around my every 3 week infusion schedule. I was never able to even submit documentation for my disability and self-disclosed. When I sent an email complaining about the lack of communication regarding getting some support because of the frequency of my treatment, I was told that they would not accommodate me and due to my push back and complaint about the lack of communication, they closed my account. I certainly don’t like that they are disclosing confidential information to react to these reviews so I have screenshots in the event that they decide to do something similar to the bullying response I have seen in other reviews. I find this organization unprofessional and passive about their responsibilities as an educational agency and dismissive of the legal rights under the ADA of 1990."
"I’m not sure where to begin, but I am a single parent raising 4 kids on my own on a teacher’s salary. I paid out of pocket for this program, which took me several years to do. Nonetheless, I completed all of my modules and field observations. Then only thing I needed to do was pass my PASL and certification test through the state. In this process I ran out of money to resubmit the PASL and needed time to save up the money. Well that took me an additional year and when I got the money I reached out to iTeach for authorization to resubmit my PASL. I was informed that my account was deleted and I would have to restart the program and pay for everything all over again. This company is a scam and only cares about getting your money. I spoke with Zach Rozell to request access to my account and he told me that my account was deleted and I had to start over. I was devastated. This company does NOT care about your success, they only care about getting your money. Please find a better program!!!"
