"The highest recommendation for "Austin Leak Detection" if you think you may have a pool leak. Work and price were clearly defined before the job started. Experienced, hardworking, and courteous team of workers on the job and in the office. Our leak was quickly detected and repaired within the original estimated price. Also, the team left the pool area where the work was done in immaculate condition. When you think you may have a pool leak it's stressful, so you want someone knowledgeable and trustworthy and that's Austin Leak Detection. If you think your pool may have a leak don't hesitate to give them a call."
"like a lot of austin area people who were hammered by the 18 freeze, my pool has been chasing a ghost in the machine for years. Small leaks, big leaks, cracks, you name it. Ive called various people over the years, they come out, recommend a massive redo, some you take, some you dont, and then a year later the leak is back. Im used to "the process" lets put it that way, and honestly a lot of this is just the luck of the draw on the weather, my pool build, and my terrain (im inclined, very rocky) So when i was recommended by a pool repair guy to call this outfit i kindof held my breath, here we go, whats the dmg, will i have to chase them, will i ever see them (ive had appointments get ghosted through the years) Quick answer of the phone was a good start. They were a little booked out (about 2 weeks) so i made the appointment and waited. I get a call from Dylan within the week, theyre going to come out to get me a leak test. Woot Dylan gets here with Mike. Both VERY polite and professional. They introduce at the door, meet me in the back yard, and we discuss the pool symptoms/mechanics. I run Dylan through some "heres how it usually is" comments and off they go. They tested all returns, spa, drains, skimmers with pressure bladders and very quickly found a crack in my skimmer. We scheduled that repair for another 2 weeks out. I let my water drain ahead of that date since wed need to do that anyway. Within a few days the water drained below my skimmer. Which means im still leaking. I call Dylan and he discusses with team and he comes back out to check again. Finds at least that i have a leaky light. We let it continue, hoping its not a main drain leak we missed. But i was able to communicate frequently during the next few days as my repair lined up. Repair day. Dylan and Mike get here promptly, lay out tools for work, and get to chiseling. While the box is being replaced by Mike, Dylan chases any other leaks. Rethreads the lights, tests main drain again (no leak! this is important because how much would THAT have been, and that they DIDNT say lets replace this was appreciated - i mean really, how many of us can second guess the testing? so we need to TRUST the guys and thats scary) The box is done and looks cleaner/better than my installed one. The bucket sits perfect, is perfectly aligned, and nicely grouted at the water line so much that the flapper just pops in. No muscling due to messy concrete work like my other one. Its just perfect. We start filling, they head out. Im watching the pool every day, ready for the literal bottom to fall out. But it hasnt. Because i think they fixed it. The repair was a week ago. I havent added any water yet, but Dylan touches base with me to see how its looking. Unsolicted. Long review but man weve all met a lot of pool guys im sure in the past 5 years. There are going to be a lot of good ones, and lot of not good ones. And the only way we might choose is from these reviews. I dont review a ton, but wanted to walk you through how comfortable this process was. And honestly you feel a little like when you find the right barber or mechanic. I just wanted to say thanks to Dylan and Mike for a great process. And while I dont look forward to any further work, if it happens, Austin Leak Detection is now in my phone as my goto."
"Michael and Dylan were both responsive, thorough and communicative. They found my leak and repaired it in the same trip for far less than their competitors. Highly recommend!"
"We've had problems with our edge pump and basin water level for years and have had numerous companies come out to troubleshoot the problem. Dylan with Austin Leak Detection spent several hours figuring out the problem, discovering and solving the leak. He then followed up with me a couple days later and came out again to make a few other minor fixes. The pool and edge pump are running great! I really appreciate Austin Leak Detection's great work, communication and overall customer service. Highly recommend them to any pool owners struggling with pool issues."
"Dylan came to fix a pool pipe leak. He ended up helping cut down the tree that had roots busting through the pipes and fixing the pipes in the end. Very appreciative for the professional and comprehensive service."
