H&R Block

"I have been doing my taxes with H&R for 4 years! But I will be going somewhere else from now on. I have NEVER had any issues until today. Definitely miss Joe being at this location I was scheduled for a 5:45pm appointment on 02/02/24 received an email that said if I uploaded my documents Miguel could start on them sooner I was in the area so I dropped them off was reassured by the ladies in front that he would receive them and give me a call today. I called around 6:30 to see how everything was going and was told he was with a client and would get back to me about my taxes when he was done. I received a call from him at 7:58pm (they close at 8pm) he stated he had no idea I had an appointment. Very unprofessional and no apology from him at all!"

"The tax preparer, Miguel Jimenez was rude to me. He asked me a creepy question that made me uncomfortable and also said other unnecessary and unprofessional things to me too. I will NOT be returning back here next year!"

"Do not go to here. Over priced and they don't know what they are doing.. Forgot one form after they did the taxes, instead of understanding and perhaps assisting, they full charged the regular fee, 2 full consultation fees. They just want to take all your money. Worst thing is that the taxes are still not completed because the "person that has to do that" was not there. 3 visits and they still can't get it right. Stay away."

"I made an appointment here for this past Saturday at 11am. Me and another women were early for our appointment. I waited 20 minutes for a receptionist or for anyone to acknowledge my visit and ended up leaving. I took my taxes to Jackson Hewitt (1 block east) and they found that H and R had made an error in my taxes. Now I have to go back to 2008/9 taxes."

"I scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 9am. Mind you their hours are by appointment only or at least that's what it appears to be online. I called their office number and went through the automated system to schedule my appointment and then confirmed the appointment the same day. I show up for my appointment a little early only for no one to be there and the office is closed. I waited for 15 minutes past my scheduled time and no one ever showed up. Very unreliable and I will never schedule here again."
