"I received several bids on new plastering and tile for my pool. AAA was by far the best bid. They started the work when they said they would and they finished on time. Every time I called with a question or concern they answered. There was a slight issue when some tile was placed incorrectly. They immediately fixed the issue. Overall they were super helpful, and quick."
"I too will have to join the other negative reviews on this site and will be sending a BBB complaint as well. My pool needed replaster and I decided to replace all tiles on the edge and the underwater light as well. My pool was losing water and I thought it was from a crack. AAA knew this from the beginning, but made no effort (now looking back to determine leak origin). They finished the job, left a bit of a mess that Russell finally came back to clean up. Plaster on the decking of the pool that I could not scrub off. Immediately after the plaster being complete I noticed the pool was still leaking. It took a bit to get someone to come out and the 1st appt. was a no show. The 2nd Russell showed up and really had no answer for me. I continued to watch the water level and my pool maintenance guy continued to add water weekly. Lately, the leak has been worse so I hired a leak detection company after AAA has ignored me to come out again. This was at a pretty big expense. The leak detection company found that when the new light was installed by AAA they did not change out the niche (the ring that holds the light). The new light is LED and bigger therefore not fitting correctly in the old ring (niche). To fix this now is a huge job involving removing the light, chipping out the pool wall to remove the old ring and then replastering the area again! Bottom line it was not done correctly the first time now causing thousands of dollars of work to be done and the total inconvenience of it all! I am truly disappointed in AAA as they won't even return my phone calls or e-mails. Russell (sales rep/supervisor) texted me today and said he was not allowed to communicate from his Cell phone. That was it! No call-No e-mail from anyone else. I am asking AAA to stand good for this and ether do the work or refund the amount that this work will cost to do. If this happens, my faith will be restored but in light of all other reviews here I am not holding my breath!"
"Unfortunately I'm left leaving a negative review after attempting to work with AAA Pool Plastering on this issue to no avail. We had our pool replastered in August 2021 by AAA and the whole process was nothing short of a headache, sadly. We scheduled our replaster in early May and due to weather our job kept getting pushed. Now this would have been an easy pill up swallow if anyone ever notified us that they just weren't going to come, but we were constantly left waiting and wondering with zero communication for months, unless we contacted them first (which took several attempts each time). I get it - the freeze had them behind. The rain caused delays. What I don't get is telling your customer you'll be there for a job again and again only to not show up without even so much as a phone call or email as a courtesy. Well we finally got our pool drained in early August and were told the job would be knocked out in 2-3 days only to have the demo crew leave and our pool sit empty for another week waiting on another crew (we were not notified there would be a week between the "2-3 days" we were told). Once the job was done and we scrubbed and fussed over the pool in every manner they'd instructed it was finally time for a swim a month later. We decided to have a late night pool party and movie night as a family and, wouldn't you know, as we were gazing into our pool with the night sky above and nothing but the pool lights to illuminate it, it was revealed that the plaster job is an absolute mess. There are lumps and bumps and hills all over the pool's surface. These imperfections are impossible to photograph and not really visible in the daylight, but they're unmistakable at night with a clear view. And we're not confident they're merely aesthetic, and justifiably concerned the new plaster may crumble and deteriorate with continued use. We immediately reached out to AAA Pool Plastering to let them know and were first completely ignored, and eventually told nobody would be willing to come look after dark and that we'd have to send photos. Again, photos can not adequately capture the issue, unfortunately. But we sent photos. And we've yet to hear anything new. As it stands, I cannot recommend AAA Pool Plastering. We were given excuse after excuse and expected to wait and be patient, which we were after calling and inquiring where our crews were each time we were stood up only to be told they were not coming for many more weeks. We waited. We told ourselves it would be worth the wait and enjoyed our summer. Now we get to wonder if and when our new plaster will fail. *I'll gladly update this review should anything change for a more positive outcome. Still not a single response or effort to reach out as of 1/4/2023."
"Can not comment on quality of their work but as a senior citizen that has used countless contractors over the years I was left baffled by their response to quote on doing a resurface of my pool. The initial email to my request indicated they could have someone visit me the next day, but on the next day I received a phone call saying no one could come on that day, but they could send someone on July 5. July 5 comes and no one shows up. I sent email again asking for explanation but never got a response. A very unprofessional company that I would not recommend."
"It has been about 5 months since we remodeled our pool. Very Happy with the decision we made to go with this company.. Our new coping and tile looks beautiful! And the plaster still looks as if it did the day they applied it. It was a smooth renovation and had an all around friendly staff. Great experience over all."
