"This neighborhood got robbed! Shame on the City of Houston (COH) for neglecting this pool and leaving behind its citizens! The citizens in this area deserve a nice pool for all their hard work and contribution to Houston’s workforce. Where are the resources for this area? It’s across town. Essential workers in the Acres Homes area should have a place to relax comfortably with their family and neighbors here. Lincoln Swimming Pool needs more public funds and attention! The condition of this pool is unacceptable! I visited this pool for the free Water Fitness Class. Participants need to wear water shoes because the bottom of the pool is in terrible shape. The sides of the pool is worn and the locker facilities need major upgrades. This pool is at least 30 years old."
