"*****************BEWARE********* worst and most unprofessional establishment. If you cannot spell an individual's name correct, first and last name and there are numerous spelling errors on your completed tax form, how can you trust their data clerks to do the financials correct? I paid over $300 for HR BLOCK to complete my taxes and my tax Refund was DENIED due to their data clerk typo's. Please do your research and do not trust the 4.8 star reviews. This is a highly unprofessional business. Not only did they spell my daughters name incorrectly, I individually found numerous other typos that I had to present to them. They up charged me $309 for this "service" and when I debriefed them on the amount of ERRORS in my tax forms, they simply told me to take my taxes elsewhere if I am not pleased with their service. I spoke to the manager MS CANDY and after hanging up on me on the phone she simply stated that she can just correct these errors that her temp data clerk completed. DO not go to this place, the 5 star reviews you are seeing on this site have to be FAKE. There is just no way."

"I have been to other H&R Blocks in the past but have never been so impressed or been made to feel so welcome as I do at the location in Huntley. I live in Algonquin now but have gone to the Huntley office for the last 3 years...I attempted to go to the location in Algonquin/Lake in the Hills and was very uncomfortable with how they talked to me and treated me, both on the phone and in person. So, I went back to the Huntley location this year and was just reassured as to why I have gone to them for the past 4 years! Annette, in particular, has been more helpful than I could have imagined! Because I had a student credit on my return this year there has been a delay, but for as many times as I have called to get the status, she has never gotten annoyed and has explained all of the details as to the delay.
