"As a new member of Chicago rocks and minerals society, I was happy to find the store. Very well organized and a very nice selection of very nice specimens at all price ranges. Bought a nice Celestite and Amethyst specimen last night and plan on returning often to look around and likely get a few more specimens as well as the stands for them. Also the museum downstairs is awesome. Awesome place that I can spend hours in."

"This place was pretty cool! All sorts of stones / rocks. Loose, small, large, in jewelry form - you name it. Sadly, 99% of their jewelry is sterling silver, which I am allergic to. However, they had some beautiful pieces! Interesting store."

"I first visited Daves Rock Shop as a child about 20 years ago when they were located at a different location in Evanston! Very cool! They have always been my favorite place to walk in and look around! I brought my now-8-year old child to visit! They have a museum in the basement!"
