"DO NOT use this company!! They are extremely rude and did a horrible job on my couch repair. The guy assured me the couch would not look worse than it did before he applied paint to fix the leather. It looks worse! This was an outrageously expensive custom couch by Arhaus, and this is the company they use for their furniture repairs (??). Despite me sending several pictures of the work that needed to be done, as well as spelling it out in detail in the text, the guy came completely unprepared and didn't seem to give a $%&#. He was in a huge hurry, seemed annoyed to be there, didn't care about my concerns or that I was not happy with his work. I then texted David, the owner, and told him about my experience and he responded that his guy was not rude. I told him I would give him a bad review (as many others have) and his response..."No problem I love people like you." Extremely condescending and flippant attitude. DO NOT use these guys if you don't want your furniture looking worse than it did before they touched it. I would rate them a zero if possible. These people are the rudest, most incompetent, unprofessional people I have ever dealt with."
"Omg what a rip off, please read the reviews and believe them. Most unprofessional sissy’s I’ve ever hired. Poor response time, attitude upon delivery, lazy. Left my piece in the garage because they weren’t smart enough to get it on elevator and not strong enough to go up the stairs. Well I hired professionals and sure enough it fit in the elevator no problem. They had it in my place in 15 minutes."
"I ordered a bed from Restoration Hardware Outlet and had to hire someone to deliver it to my place. They gave me two recommendations one in Illinois one in Wisconsin, I used these guys because I live in Illinois and figured I’d support the state that I’m in. The guy who sets up the delivery is very unprofessional (David Gaga), they want to give you a delivery day 6 days in advance but not give you a time window until the day before. I had to work around this but was manageable but highly inconvenient. Day of the delivery I text him asking when I should expect the delivery guys to get here and he states let me check in (no response for over an hour I text again) David says in the second text that they are heading my way will be there shortly. And hour or so goes by finally they show up. The bed is over 400lbs and they install the bed improperly, the first thing they did was leave my headboard floating on two support pieces of wood that help protect the style of headboard I received from being damaged during shipping. This was horrible because the headboard itself was not touching the ground in the right places. (This is what prompted me to take the bed apart knowing that it would in time damage the headboard if not resolved). After taking everything apart is when I found that the nuts had not been tightened completely and that one nut was missing. (Understand that this was not their fault they simply picked up the bed but they should have addressed this with me) When I spoke to David the person who owns this company he stated that they did nothing wrong and I quote “please explain to me how we did anything wrong” I give him a thorough explanation of what it is that his guys did wrong and he proceeds to argue with me about how they did nothing wrong, despite me sending him pictures of what they did wrong. I expressed that his guys should have informed me that hardware was missing so I could make my own separate arrangements to see that the bed was properly put together. My ask was to get credited back for the install and also would like the tip back that I left the guys for failure to inform me of missing pieces as well as not putting my bed together properly. He stated the next day that he wanted to make things right but it appears that his guys are not willing to own up to their mistakes. I waited 4 weeks for a check that was supposed to be in the mail, then he said he would send cash I expressed sending cash in the mail is not a good idea. Needless to say nothing has been done to resolve the issue. No integrity!"
"Terrible..... I was upcharged and furniture was left in the corridor. Very unprofessional and matter of fact... I had previously measured both entry ways and suggested which way to bring in the side table. They couldn't of been more condescending or ignorant. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable mover when buying from Restoration Hardware Outlet. This was a total waste of money and my 74 year old father in law and I brought in piece the next day...."
"I visited the Arhaus store on 8/23. I found a few pieces that I liked, and inquired about delivery. Delivery is from a third party, and only one of these providers delivers out of state- and I needed this furniture delivered about an hour away in Michigan. I called David, with D S Furniture Delivery and he confirmed with me he would deliver to Michigan and gave me a price- this was both a phone conversation and over text. In light, I purchased two pieces from Arhaus Loft in Orland Park. Now, two weeks later, I STILL do not have my furniture delivered from this crook. He has since refused to deliver it to Michigan, as promised-even in writing, and has twice confirmed a delivery and cancelled at the last minute. I’ve given him multiple day options to choose from for delivery. As I write, I have been sitting at home since 6pm as he has promised the furniture would be delivered to my Chicago property between 6-8pm tonight (I, then, still have to get it to Michigan in a SECOND delivery) and it has not arrived (update: arrived finally at 9:12pm). My experience was wholly unprofessional and frustrating. I would give DS Delivery zero stars, if I could. I am hoping people do not continue to use him as they will have a horrible time actually receiving their furniture."
