"Rip off"
"Not sure about this place. I specifically asked if they were in palos park. The guy said yes. I thought I'd get a local business. He told me Dimitri would show up between 1 and 4. Some other guy from a Chicago business showed up late (He called at 4 saying he had car trouble) he had a chip on his shoulder, and quoted me $550 to repair my 4-year old kitchenaide dishwasher which was over $1000 to purchase. He did not even take the dishwasher out to examine it. Charged $95 to "diagnose". He told me it was the pump motor and that it would likely be covered under warranty because he knows what he's doing. I called kitchenaide and they said it is not covered. At this point, I'm looking at probably 4 truth stretches. I'm cutting my losses at $95. I'll get gouged by kitchenaide and have them repair their piece of junk that didn't even last 4 years. I'll update my review after. The jury is still out."
"Unreasonable rates & Unprofessional. Tech name Sharma was sent to fix the dryer having an issue with the flame staying on. He said eta an hour to arrive; it was an hour and a half. After initial diagnosis he stated some sensors were bad and pulley wheels needed replacing. Then immediately gave an estimate of 275.00, " no more than that" is exactly what he stated and that the parts were in his truck and the total cost would include parts and labor, but after tearing apart the whole dryer, found that the blower wheel was not engaging an would be an extra 25 to install a new wheel which he did not have and said it was for labor only. He would need to return to install the wheel. Total for this visit now increased to 300. At one point after calling me over to show me some issues he asked me to hold the top panel so he could install the drum back. I was assisting him with holding it up for about 5 mintues. Thats on me. My advise to the company: dont get the customers involved with the work! He also asked me for a hammer and some napkins. So I gave him a mini hammer and paper towels. He was not prepared. After all was said and done. He jerry-rigged the wheel with his "engineering' background so it would function for the meantime. It may last 10 days or maybe a whole year before going out is what he said. So to boil it all down, I paid 300 for him to tear open the dry and jerry rig the blower wheel and NO parts, I repeat no parts were replaced. This was all labor. No Thanks I will not be using them again. Not to mention. I had to go downstairs and outside by his truck to get the receipt. Again uprepared to have it in his bag to write it up in the comfort of the home. It was negative temps that night and we were standing out in the dark next to his car headlight while he swiped the debit card. I'll take my business somewhere else. I forgot to mention the 70.00 just for him to show up. 370.00 final total."
"On time, polite and was able to fix the major issue with my washer. Will call again."
