"Not recommended. Same experience as the last two reviewers. You are really calling Premium Home Services which charges a $179 automatically renewing membership fee to come out. This is before charging for any work. When I realized the fee to come out was an ongoing membership fee I called back and had the service request cancelled and the membership fee refunded. They did refund the membership charge that day. The address in Wheaton does not exist. The BBB rating for Premium Home Services is F. They are not accredited."

"I called them to have an electrician come out to fix an outlet that had a short in it. They said it’d be a $149 service fee to come out for which I had to pay before they came out. I paid it and a guy did show up and appeared to have electrician knowledge but now I’m skeptical it was a licensed electrician. Prior to his arrival I received an odd email saying I was enrolled in Premium Home Services at an automatic renewal rate of $149. I never agreed to this automatic annual service charge and I did some research on this Premium Home Service. Tons of people saying it was a scam. I’ve tried canceling it and I was told I’d receive a cancellation verification email. This never happened. I tried calling again days later to cancel the service and I was told they were having issues with their billing system and the person I spoke to from a foreign country was extremely rude. This company is a scam and recommend you run away. The address they listed in Wheaton doesn’t even exist. I drove to the address they say their office was at and it does not exist. On top of that the guy that was at my house charged me an additional $175 on top of the $150 just to fix an outlet. Total was $325 and now I can’t cancel some type of annual service they automatically signed me up for without my approval."

"Did not use this company. Requested a price on installing a home generator. They would only send someone out if I paid $249.00 first. I only live a few miles away."

"Rick did a great job for us. We had a couple of projects done which in our old and strangely built house presented a number of unexpected difficulties but Rick just kept working at it until he was able to finish the job. He was very professional and considerate taking all of the challenges that our house provided in stride. We definitely plan to use Byron Electrical Services again as we continue to update our home."
