"My 90 year old mother cannot manage her claim for a washer repair even after four weeks of attempts. I have "chatted" with Sears Home Service Warranty on her behalf with statements that the Overflow Escalation Submission (two of them have been issued) will be executed but no action. I have expressed discontent and feel that the only available option is through the courts."

"My Sears parts were to be delivered 1/23/24, and as of 2/6/24 have not arrived. No tracking number was provided. Sears was quick to charge my credit card, but I have no parts. Every Sears number I have called is automated and I am unable to talk with an agent. I have done the online chat 3 times - still no parts. I will let my credit card fight out the charge with Sears, and I will never buy another Sears product again!"

"I purchased a master protection warranty plan when I purchased all of my home major home appliance with Sears in 2008. I have paid about $1,400.00 - $1,500.00 every year for all 5 of my appliances. I had to make many service calls in the last year for my refrigerator and my washing machine. At this point, these appliances are no longer repairable. According to the agreement, if the appliance is unrepairable then I should receive a replacement. When I call for service, they have been quick to respond. Now that my appliances are failing to work and I am requesting that they move forward towards honoring the agreement I have been paying on for years, they have sent me through so much and they refuse to move towards replacement. I keep getting the run around over and over and over and over and over again. My daughter and I have called over 50 times just to make sure they are held accountable to get my appliances replaced. I am 79 years old and I did not sign up to receive this kind of disrespect, disregard and lack of concern for my hard earned money. I paid for a service for maintenance of my appliances or replacement if they are unrepairable and I am demanding to have them honor their master protection plan warranty agreement and not give me the run around. There's a corporate office location but the only department answering calls is the human resource department. There is no direct contact with a secretary; there's no one to talk to in management to elevate my concerns. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I also believe that they are operating in some kind of fraudulent manner for if they were a true operating business, then I would've had my issue resolved by now. It's been 3 months and I am just now getting my refrigerator replaced. That should never be the case. I'm still waiting to have them process a replacement for my washing machine because they can't find all of the parts. It has been a month and I am still waiting to have it replaced."

"I'm giving it one star because there was one heating system tech, Nick, who tried to provide solutions. There was cold air coming out of the vents when heat was on- one senior tech put it on emergency heat and said to call in April/May for repair completion. Another senior tech then said I needed a new thermostat. I called a well known company and when they came out, they said I did not need a new thermostat - a simple fix in the control box and two places in thermostat that weren't set properly. After over 2 months of Sears trying to repair the electric heating system under my Master Protection Plan with no solution, another company fixed it in an hour."

"I have a Sears protection agreement for my refrigerator. My refrigerator was no longer working. On Aug 3, 2023 the process of repairing my refrigerator started. The company has put in 11 parts and the final tech arrived on 9/26/23 said I need a door to make my icemaker work correctly & there is no door available. You should get payment for your refrigerator or get you a replacement. I have a claim number. I was supposed to get an email explaining the process to proceed. Never got that even after several calls. I called to set up a time to speak to a supervisor. Gave them two different days to contact me. The supervisor never called. Called on 10/11/23 told me, I couldn't talk to a supervisor I would just have to wait until they processed the claim. Time frame unknown. I am still waiting."
