"Disappointed! First they quoted us $2,400 to replace an inductor motor on an 18 year-old furnace which drove us to buy a new furnace for from them for $6,100 (because it was -15F outside). The install went well, but when our 2nd furnace also failed next day for exactly the same issue, a different contractor only charged us $550 to replace the motor! Then, and you should check the fine print on their contract, after we paid the down payment by check, they automatically withdrew the second payment from our bank without getting our permission (we were planning on using a different account)… luckily we had enough money in the account. Absolutely, NOT recommended."

"Garrett at G&R helped fix a broken flue pipe in my attic that was damaged when we got our roof done. He went above and beyond, he got the correct parts, was able to problem solve, and even went on the roof himself to fix part of it. He got it all done in the same day and we didn’t have to prolong it by having the roofers who damaged it come out. Awesome job and I have peace of mind knowing it’s properly fixed now."

"Be aware! Their salesmen will try to get you to spend WAY more! Our furnace was blowing cold air the past few days so we had one of the technicians from G&R, Adam, come out and take a look. He was able to diagnose the issue. It was a broken gas valve. Adam told us that with labor and the price of the part our total invoice would be just over $900. But he reassured us with their membership, for only $8 more, we would have the part replaced PLUS 2 free visits within the next year. However, we would have to wait until tomorrow because they need to buy the part directly from the manufacturer, in our case Goodman. After a quick Google search, I found directly on the Goodman website the part that we needed replaced only costs $98.99 before tax. I told him this and his exact words were "I cannot confirm that." I thanked him for his time and told him we would be looking for a second opinion, but would let him know if we wanted to continue with the repair. I called another Local Company in the Rockford area. Not only were they able to arrive within 30 minutes, they replaced the gas valve same day (in about 20 minutes), and charged just under $300 including labor. Please be aware of this business and their sales tactics and always get a second opinion when possible!"
