"Cleek charges the customer TRAVELING time from when they leave their shop till the plumber returns . That rate is at their labor rate of 175 dollars a hour, the highest in the area. I was charged 87.50 for travel of 8 miles each way. So much for Buy/Shop local. I was Not informed of that rate ,they say they did inform me . There is no way I would agree to that ,why there other plumbing Company's locally, they do charge a service call charge but their rates are in line with what is charged my the majority of local Plumbers - example - 98.00 service call and 80.00 a hour Not 175.00 across the board. I did question the final charges as 2 hours of labor did not equal the figures billed. That is when I learned of the traveling charge . When I questioned the invoice it was just one total no breakdown of how they came to that total. I was sent a e mail on July 26,2023 that stated 3 things The cost of the water tank, the supplies and the labor charge Nowhere was a TRAVEL charge mentioned. I was told they keep all the figures on "A Hard Copy" in the office. I questioned their Invoice format and was told they do not have the software to do that .We all know that software is the standard and available I did make several mistakes with my transaction with Cleek. I Trusted them ! I didn't shop around as I should have I should have got a written quote I paid the full amount the plumber calculated on his phone without a itemized invoice. The manufacture of my existing water tank agreed to replace it . They would issue a credit to the wholesale distributor that Cleek purchased it on July17 2023. I was told by cleek that would issue me a refund for the water heated when their account received the pending credit. August went by no refund. The first week in September no refund, I called Cleek the next two weeks Kelly said no credit yet. At no time did anyone at Cleekoffer to further investigate as to what is the status of the credit which would be my refund. On August 23,2023 I actually spoke with Ferguson the plumbing wholesaler. They within minunites found my original purchase and said they received the documents needed the credit. he also stated they"issued the credit -and supplied me with the reference number- approved and issued Cleek's account the said credit. I happened to call Cleek again on September 21. I was told it just arrived. I do not believe that to be true. Ethical ?? Honest?? Thats my story My next wont be going to Cleek"

"Writing this review on Thanksgiving because I am very grateful for their work. Kevin came on an emergency call to replace the ejector pump in my basement. He had the old pump out of the house and the new one installed within 1/2 hr. He helped keep the time he was billing me at bay because he pulled a ready-to-go pump right out of the van, with all the fittings pre-installed. So, all he had to do was drop it in the pit. Not everyone would be that conscious of the time they bill their customers. Besides his expediency, he was the most competent contractor I’ve ever seen walk through my door. After his work resolving the issue for which I called him out, I actually had him diagnose another problem, which he quickly resolved after he got back to his shop to order parts. This next job was already scheduled by the time the part they had to order was inbound. I had to call 2 other plumbers to fix this issue. One never replied to schedule the work, and the other looked at it, but never got back to me. The office staff get credit here too. They have been very up front with all their communications, updating me every time they had new information. I also appreciated that they communicate by phone or text…whichever means their customers indicate they prefer. For all these reasons, I will recommend Cleek without hesitation anytime someone needs a plumber!"

"On two separate occasions I've called a minimum three weeks in advance for service. Not an emergency, just wanted some old shut off valves replaced. I'm on vacation all week both times so I'm open to any availability they have which was communicated on both initial calls. Both times, short staffed. No communication until Thursday evening saying they don't have the techs. Just can't get to them to my house. I hear they do good work but just don't have time to service clients. I'll have to find another company that wants the work."

"I have had a difficult time finding companies to come out for repairs. I called Cleek after another company did not show to repair my outside hose spigot. They happened to be in the area and within an hour everything was fixed. He even stayed to prepare quotes on a bathroom remodel. Very professional and I would highly recommend."
