"I want to take this time to thank you for making it possible for our children to have such wonderful experiences with the Learn to Swim program. My children were blessed to be part of the Learn to Swim program at North Central Pool. My son also participated in the Swim Team Competition and he had an amazing experience. Coach Chris, Coach Steve, Coach Natalie, Coach Arlette, Coach Cecily are wonderful coaches and lifeguards. They definitely deserve a raise. ☺️ These individuals made it possible for my children to learn important swimming skills, sportsmanship and self confidence. When my children would go swim during public hours they were always greeted with warm and friendly smiles. Your coaches/lifeguards are kind and very dedicated young men and women . Your department is very fortunate to have them as part of your team. I am forever grateful to them. I ask that the coaches and lifeguards at North Central Park be recognized for everything they have done this summer for our children. To say that they have gone far and beyond is an understatement. This will be a summer my family will never forget and it is thanks to the individuals I mentioned above. Thank you once again for the opportunity you provide for the children of Laredo."

"Lap swim, small weight room and water temperature not too hot. Locker rooms if needed, integrated in with North Central Park. The facility is fairly new and nice. A good place to exercise. Sign up to swim with the recreation center for City of Laredo"

"The pool depths are either 1.5', 4', or deeper. There is no pool with a depth between 1.5' & 4'. Inconvenient for my kids in Kinder & 1st who know how to swim but couldn't stand in the 4' but are too old for the kiddie pool."
