"This is a franchise business with franchise experiences. The technician was prompt. The diagnostic work was thorough. The description of the work to be done created a sense of doom; "your system has multiple failures". The technician deferred any pricing until 'research' could be completed. Several attempts were made to have a "Comfort Counselor" come to our home to discuss total replacement. ( I said, 'comfort counselor? you mean salesperson?' Response was 'well, yeah'.) The conclusion was receiving a call from the owner stating the magnitude of the repairs would cost over $3,000.00 A local family owned business responded, did the same diagnostic work confirming portions of the previous diagnosis, and made repair on the spot for under $500.00.
