"Almost a year ago, I dropped my dog off at LUCKY DOG GROOMING and he never made it home. He died during the drying process. The owner refused to help us pay for a necropsy (animal autopsy) and said he had video showing his employees did nothing wrong. Since he agreed to send us the video, we only had the vet do a visual exam to see if there were signs of strangulating or blunt force trauma which they did not see. The owner NEVER sent us the video or reached out to us to apologize and was completely rude and uncaring regarding the death of our beloved dog at his facility. Every year, I will share our story in Deacon's honor to let pet owners know that the grooming industry is not regulated by anyone. I know there are great groomers out there but please know how your groomer handles your pet, what the grooming/drying process is, if they video the session and will let you view it, and how they handle medical emergencies. I asked them EVERY TIME I picked Deacon up after grooming if he did ok and and they said he always did great. They later made a public post on their Facebook insinuated that I should have medicated him prior to grooming. THEY NEVER TOLD ME HE HAD ANY ISSUES. And if he was that stressed they should have STOPPED the grooming and called me to pick him up. Maybe he'd still be alive. Deacon saw our vet each year for vaccinations and was very healthy. With the industry being unregulated, there is almost no legal way to hold them responsible and the owner told us he had video and then later told his attorney his video equipment was not working that day. We were LIED to during one of the most traumatic times in our lives. Deacon was a part of our family who was loved by everyone he met. Please be an advocate for your pet in Deacon's honor."

"BEWARE OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS (THEY ARE TRUE!) My dog has been going to various groomers for 3 years. After taking her to Lucky Dog Groomers, we discovered a cut on her leg and went back to the groomer. 1. They never communicated to us when we were picking up our dog. 2. They made an excuse and played it off as an irritation to the blades. Why would my dog all of a sudden have irritation to blades when she has never shown signs of irritation after blade grooming before? 3. The groomer who cut my dog not once came over to hear our explanation, nor did she apologize for her mistake. Very bad business procedures here. If your dog gets cut, they will not admit their mistakes. Will never be back here again."

"Finding a groomer has been one of the most challenging journeys for us as furry dog pawrents. We adopted 3 dogs (have a total of 4 now) during the height of the pandemic and sadly the two groomers we used went out of business. I took a leap of faith at Lucky Fog Grooming and it was the a wonderful decision. I typically don’t care much how my dogs look, I usually request their hair be “Summer short” all year round. Where I was concerned was friendly service and that my furry babies leave the groomers and be happy when they got home. In previous occasions my dogs would come home and be upset the entire day and would not eat. At Lucky Dog Groomers not only do they have incredibly friendly service and my dogs come home super happy, but they never take longer than 2 hours grooming all 4 of my babies - they’re in and out. Typically my dogs would have to stay at the groomers 6-8 hours which I could never comprehend. I can only hope this continues to be my experience long term. Highly recommend this place."
