"We recently had to go to blue pearl when our puppy had a blockage in his intestines. They told us the only option was surgery as soon as possible which was true. The problem with this organization is that they wanted to charge us $17,000+ for this surgery and after care. The one positive take away was the vet/vet tech we had that recommended us to go to a different emergency vet an hour away in Rockford. We were able to save our dog and $14,000 by not staying at Blue Pearl."

"No one ever wants to spend time at an emergency vet! Certainly we didn't...however given the circumstances, the staff and doctors at Blue Pearl were amazing. Our fur baby spent 5 days under their care. The facilities were clean and well maintained, the staff was supportive and adoring. The wait time was minimal. The only advice I would provide relates to the painstaking process of billing discussion options while trying to manage the stress of the moment. We THANK everyone at Blue Pearl! Overall, this is a spectacular facility!"

"I was referred to BluePearl by my regular vet, after I needed a surgery consult for my cat. The staff and doctors were attentive and asked the right questions. It was a conversation through and through, always keeping me in the loop and ensuring that I had enough information and power to make a decision about my cat. They even called before my appointment to offer other times that might have been convenient for me, without being prompted. Overall it was a pleasant experience for an emotionally heightened day. Will likely keep in contact as needed."

"Want to thank everyone at Blue Pearl for taking such good care of my Ozzy. From the bottom of my heart I’m grateful for each and every vet member there. He had hip surgery and then stayed overnight for observation. I could call whenever to check up on him and the nighttime nurse was so sweet. He was discharged mid afternoon and came home slightly agitated but re-acquainted very quickly. I am beyond grateful my baby was taken well care of and that they were able to get him in so quickly with the holidays. Thank you Blue Pearl team!
