"Took my 6 year old dog to get a check up, they suggested a 6 month proHeart medication (and I accepted) and gave her the 12 month shot. My dog ended up with a severe allergic reaction which I understand can happen and that’s not their fault. However, when I called to let them know to remove the next 6 month shot the staff member told me they had given her the 12 month and that I need to pay for the 12 months. I’ll be switching her over to another vet. Do not give your pets ProHeart vaccine! Check to see the possible side effects online- you can find the study done for this medication."
