"I had such a wonderful experience here. After I was buzzed in I chatted with the sales person about looking for a ring for my girlfriend, she asked great questions and eventually showed me a rack of beautiful rings, and one jumped out at me immediately. They had no problem setting me up for a layaway plan, the jeweler came out from the back and chatted with me for a bit, and I love that they're a neighborhood business. Go here if you really want the individual treatment you won't get at a jewelry chain."
"Pretty terrible experience each time trying to correct the first mistakes they made. Fiance went in to get his father's wedding ring repaired as well as my mother's ring repaired from the diamond getting knocked out of it for our upcoming wedding. He spoke with the owner that seemed to be impressed by his ring and got my fiance pretty excited about the potential to make it "ours." What we received on the second visit was a joke: my tiny diamond was set in crooked with the prongs uneven (already being weary of wearing it since I lost and future husband re-found the tiny sentimental diamond, I was even more worried due to the shoddy craftsmanship which could only have been completed by an inexperienced intern or someone with no quality control whatsoever). His ring was badly damaged by them as though the "jeweler" used a very rough file, scratching up each recessed part of the ring. It did not look like what the owner mentioned they would do with the ring: clean it up, add areas of silver to the gold, replace a tiny missing diamond; there was also a portion of the ring that had been thinned out *much* more than the opposite symmetrical side had. Again: no quality control or apparent pride in their work. I had paid for the ring work over the phone prior to pickup but should have waited to see their level of work. We brought both rings back again and they fixed mine and "fixed" his. On the second time around, his ring was now too large for his finger and still had the damage they caused to the ring with their tools, and only random portions had the silver not all areas that were supposed to have this effect. He brought it back to talk with the owner specifically about correcting the issues on this third round. The shop person previously admitted that the ring was not done yet for some reason, let us take them home on the second go around and did not mention this while handing them over. The owner personally confirmed that he would actually do the work this time (come on, that's the least you could do for charging us over $200 for your terrible services experienced). We gave up. The ring is alright, still had the area much thinner from them damaging the ring in the first place but we weren't about to continue working with this clown operation. UPDATE: husband’s ring broke within weeks of my rant above, further demonstrating their shoddy work. Took it to get replaced at a significantly better jeweler on the east side. Still wish I was refunded the original money for the ring they damaged. Awful place."
"This very delicate turquoise piece was a ring once upon a time but it was too fragile to repair after the band snapped. I couldn't be happier with the solution to turn it into an earring to preserve the inlay. Fantastic place for jewelery repairs at a very fair price."
"Stumbled across this place to have my wedding ring repaired along with my husband's ring. Friendly service, very fast turnaround, reasonably priced, and they did an incredible job. We were hoping to find a local jeweler to support instead of going to a corporate business. So happy we found this place!"
"Dwayne worked with my fiance and I to create a beautiful ring for our engagement! It combines stones from my mother's opal ring and his mother's diamond ring and a blue sapphire purchased by us. The cluster ring is absolutely perfect. Dwayne went though multiple sketches and iterations to make sure we all felt comfortable with the end product. We are now starting to work with him on the wedding band to go along with it. Definitely recommend!!"
