"I was referred to Harvester by a friend who has taken his pets there since right after they opened. My pup needs to be spayed, but has a heart condition that makes anesthesia a bit riskier, which made several clinics hesitate to do the procedure. Dr Niemiec took the time to do a thorough exam of my pup, as well as review the medical records I brought along. He explained the options and expressed his comfort in performing the procedure. He indicated he would be calling the dog cardiologist handling her case to discuss the best options for anesthesia. He offered a few options to be performed, but was in no way pushy, trying to sell me on them. All this at prices lower than I had been quoted by other clinics. They also accept Care Credit which was super helpful for us. Once we got into the exam room. The vet tech was an absolute gem, taking the time to get to know Legend and make him feel at ease. When Dr. Kanak walked in, it was like a ray of sunshine had entered the room. She immediately got down on the ground to greet Legend to make him feel safe, while she checked him. The whole team was incredibly patient and thorough, answering all of our questions and never making us feel rushed. They even followed up the next day to check on Legend's progress. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kanak and the staff at Harvester Hospital. They truly care about their patients and it shows. Legend is feeling so much better now, thanks to their expert care."
