Patriot Pilates

"2 years ago I had emergency back surgery and didn't heal right. I have had great success with Mariel and Patriot Pilates. I came into PP at the beginning of the year with incision pain, neuropathy in my feet/toes, a tight lower back, a core that didn't know how to activate, and sciatica pain that kept me from enjoying life. Fast forward 3 months and I have about 97% of feeling back in my feet, the toe spasms have gone from multiple times a day down to once or twice a week. My incision pain has stopped completely, my core is the strongest it has been in years, and the tell-all sign of success is that for the past two weeks I have walked and or danced for 5+ hours for days on end. There is slight ting in my sciatica but nothing keeping me from enjoying life or that a good stretch wouldn't cure. Prior to working with Mariel, I couldn't walk a mile without stopping due to pain. I love that Mariel listens to me, my body and what I need to grow and heal correctly and in a way that educates me so I am developing my strengths outside of her studio. I do private sessions as my needs are a little different than a standard class but as soon as I graduate and build my body and strength, I will be all over doing a class a few days a week.
