"I've only been here a few days so far but I have to agree with a previous reviewer about the water pressure. It's so low that I filled my FW tank and supplement the pressure with my water pump. Not sure how the folks in mobile homes and park models deal with it. ON EDIT. Last week there were some repairs done for a leak, supposedly by the city. Since then the water pressure is much better. Not great but better. There is also a great deal of sludge in the lines. I had to replace my water filter after only 2 weeks here."

"I’m very discouraged to report that our utility trailer was stolen off the storage lot while being stored in Texas Trails. I had given them a five star rating before but have changed it to one stars. It being a secure, gated park was a top priority feature for us and now knowing how non secure it actually is and a huge monetary loss, our opinion has drastically changed. The park has not looked at the security video and have said there is nothing they can do to try to find out who stole our trailer. The trailer was storing my husbands street motor cycle and many personal possessions that we didn’t have room for in our fifth wheel camper. We have been living in Texas Trails while my husbands work called him to McAllen. We have been here for two years and eight months and up until now it had been mostly enjoyable. The best hope we have of finding the thief is on the security video and neither the Police, Texas Trails management or Wilder group have even looked at it. The Wilder group who owns Texas Trails has not even returned our phone calls. The campground is taking no responsibility for this theft or made any attempt to find the thief. The thief or accomplice, may even be living in the park or coming in and out of the park routinely. It seems like a very thought out plan since it happened while we were on a two week vacation and the motorcycle and other items had been openly loaded into the trailer just the day before we left on vacation. Also, our trailer with multiple locks was stolen while others that were unlocked were not taken."

"It’s a nice area with lots of nice people. I have stayed here for about 2 months and planned on staying more then a year. Unfortunately, the water pressure is extremely low, and ALL over the park. I spoke with five other residents in the area, and ALL stated the same issue. I have lived all other the U.S and at different RV parks. Let’s just say water here SUCKS. I disconnected my filter in hopes the pressure would flow better, but even with that, its terrible. Plus you’ll mess up your lines. I let the office know and they proceeded to blame my system. Should have read the other negative reviews others have left. So I decided to move to another location in the RGV, guess what, NO issues.. I can shower, fill my toilet with water, with no problems. Now I know why there is a lot of open spaces. That’s because others have left or already know. People just don’t want to move into an area with low or no water. I did pay a month ahead, so I wasn’t due till December. I decided to cancel and let them know, and they still wanted to charge me $390 extra because I was canceling. Ridiculous! I never encountered a RV park like this were they want to cast blame on the customers. I would avoid this place. Again, I love the neighbors, they are nice, but management is delusional. I would Not rent here if you plan on hooking up."

"I love the location and I love that it is gated and in a very safe area close to hospitals, but I am very disappointed that I was asked to leave because I will be having a baby soon. It’s very difficult to find an RV park in a safe area here in the valley. It is so frustrating to know so many nicer RV parks most of them being Wilder Resorts do not allow us to stay because we’re under 55 and are about to have a child, they expect us to go to a horrible un gated area just because those are the family friendly ones. It is very unfair especially when you’re willing to pay and don’t give any trouble."
