Animal Hospital of Spring Grove

"Soooo TOTALLY NOT impressed at all. I was referred to Dr C by a good friend (typically go to Westosha), but she raved about Dr. C. He was out of town. Brought my 3 month Yorkie there for a first check up and follow up vaccines (NEW client). Apparently I saw Dr. Latif? Not friendly. Told me to put the dog on the table, stuck a thermometer up her rear. I asked about her tear stains, was told it was from hair (she was groomed the day before), not potential allergies, not her food and they are excessive. I asked about her feedings, how her weight was was told to follow the bag. Didn't even ask what I was feeding her. There was ZERO small talk and not one question. How are things going? How is she sleeping? How is she eating. He wasn't cute with her. Nothing. He told me she was due for a vaccine and I should "hold her head tight." (Isn't that what a vet tech is for???) I did. She received the shot and he tossed the syringe on the counter and said bye. It was the most YUCK vet experience I have ever had and I have a farm with multiple vets with long standing relationships. Will NOT GO HERE EVER AGAIN AND I DON'T CARE IF DR. C IS GREAT. Nope!!!!"

"Dr C is always so kind to our pets. He is extra thorough and gentle with his approach so they trust him instantly. He has a very good bedside manner and explains everything in detail so you best understand. We have never felt rushed when we have questions and we feel 100% comfortable leaving our babies in this hospitals care. Dr C will always do what’s best for them! If you are looking for a reliable vet with friendly staff and great doctors this is the place!"

"Leaving a five star review because I know this will post on top for people to see. I brought my 12 week German shepherd there for her shots and the first question I got asked by the vet was “how much did I pay for her”, I then asked him a question on her shots so he went on Google to find his answer. They should already know the answer. I could’ve went on Google myself. I then told him her other pup mates are already playing at daycare with other dogs, so I want to catch her up so she is able to go with them and he refused and shook his head at me. I asked him why she isn’t allowed and he said well every dog is “Different” The whole time I was in there he was making very snotty remarks on serious questions I had about my dog. Then proceeded to charge me $200 for two shots. I understand that vet visits are expensive but with the attitude and the disrespect I got from him was not worth it. I am beyond baffled on my experience, and I will never be bringing my dogs back here ever again."

"I had to get my dog in as soon as possible because my dog's allergies are starting to flare up again. Her ears were pretty red so I called to see when was the soonest I could get her to see the vet. Mind you this is right before the holidays, but they were able to see me right away. I was able to get my dog in a few hours later. Very friendly staff and my dog is pretty skittish but she warmed up to the vet right away. That's always a good sign that you've got the right person taking care of your fur baby. We finally found the right place where we're going to make out dog's vet."

"I got both my dogs teeth cleaned. I dropped them off in the morning and picked them up in the afternoon. I received probiotics and prebiotics to help them recover. Their teeth look nice and clean. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and very satisfied. I will definitely come bad to the clinic."
