"OMG!!! This was a scary experience. The man that showed up to work on our panel was so disheveled. Very unprofessional look! Baggy pants, old frayed clothes, oily unkept hair. I couldn’t let him in! When I decided the next day to drive to their office and voice my complaint I found it to be a house without any siding and a very messy disorganized yard…. I just kept driving. I will never call this establishment again! Everyone double check that who you call is a real business with a real office and professional employees!"

"Last September I paid Seth $350 upfront to fix an electrical issue. He never did the job. He said that my money would be refunded within the next 48 hrs, but it never was. My wife contacted him after 3 days to let him know that the money hadn't been refunded and he told her that his bank showed the money had been transferred back into my account but that he would pay her cash but she had to sign some paper first. She informed me when I was at work, so I messaged Seth on my break and let him know that I was going to go to my bank after work to see if there had been any transfers or refunds back into my account. If my bank said that there wasn't then I was going to contact The Better Business Bureau and go to The Ogle County Clerks office and file a claim against him. He then messaged me back threatening me multiple times and claimed that he's not someone that I would want to mess with. So I filed a claim with the BBB and they contacted Seth but he never responded to them so after 20 days or so they told me to file a small claim against him. I had a lawyer send him a demand letter letting him know that we would pursue litigation if he hadn't returned my money but he never responded. So finally I filed a small claim against him and he never showed up to court so I was awarded a default judgement of $500 for the money I paid him and the amount that it costed to file a claim. The court date was at the beginning of March and I have yet to receive the money that he stole. I wouldn't recommend this company but If you decide to hire No budget Electric then hopefully your experience is better than mine."

"No Budget was going to be my go to for all my electrical work. Seth is very personable and clearly cares about the quality of his work while being mindful of keeping things affordable. Update: Seth was supposed to come back to finish some wiring two weeks after the original job date, it's been 3 months. He called back once about a month out to arrange a date but was a no show that was in February. He hasn't returned any calls since. I guess I should have made him stay until everything was complete."
