"They told me that my recently acquired cat was pregnant and they couldn’t give her all the vaccines they wanted to, but that some vaccines were fine. My cat miscarried the next day. Called and said they couldn’t do anything at that point but if I wanted to pay almost $500 they would give her an X-ray and ultrasound to make sure there wasn’t anything still in her. Brought cat to a different vet (recommended by a friend) and she was appalled that they vaccinated a pregnant cat….that there are no safe vaccines for pregnant cats. She was also able to examine my cat to assess her current health condition after her ordeal for $40. I’m so sad for my cat. And after seeing the other vet it is super clear that Huntley Animal Care is about making money and not about the actual health of your pet. Will never go back. 0 stars. Also very expensive."
"We have worked with Dr. Phillips and Dr. Shipley for our cats Maro and Violette and they have both been wonderful. The staff here is always caring and considerate. We heartbreakingly lost Maro this year, but we were able to connect him with specialists thanks to referrals which gave us a successful care plan that kept him comfortably with us for so much longer, and it all started with Huntley Animal Care. They continue to give us great care for Violette as she's approaching her senior years. Thank you, everyone at HAC!"
"100% would not recommend this vet. I have spent thousands on my 12 year old dog with bladder cancer. The vet and I agreed to try natural therapies and monitor the progress. She did really well for 4 months and last night she started having issues. I called first thing this morning to see if I could bring her in to get some pain medication and they told me I needed to wait two days for an appointment or take my dog to emergency center. Why would i need to take my dog to an emergency center for a prescription for anti anti-inflammatories? If you have all my dogs records? Seems they care very little for the actual care and compassion of an animal. I would give zero stars if I could. Its situations like this that show what a place is really about. She died the next day. I was informed at the specialty center she should have been prescribed anti inflammatory’s as soon as she was diagnosed with cancer."
"Huntley Animal Care is exceptional. From the front desk, to the techs, to the doctors, everyone there is professional, friendly and caring. Do to their love and care for animals they helped up get many more years with our family dog. We can't THANK them enough. We will keep using them and refer them to family and friends for their fur babies❤️"
"Thank you so much HAC!!! Dr. Shipley and her vet tech was amazing and super caring! I brought my cat Sahara in after being "diagnosed" with FIP from a vet that couldn't even answer my questions and in the end told me to put her down immediately. She was clearly misdiagnosed as she didn't act like a sick cat and played, ate, and pooped like normal. The other vet ran one test and it wasn't even the right one. He ran a COVID test on cats which most cats are positive for COVID anyway. Dr. Shipley come to find out has a cat of her own that is FIP positive and not only is she EXTREMELY knowledgeable about it but she does AMAZING work to help raise awareness for cats with FIP as there is no known cure. Dr. Shipley did a thorough examining of Sahara and she's perfectly healthy and no signs of FIP! $800 spent at the other vet with no answers and just to be told to put my cat down, $50 total here and I had all the answers I needed and more. Not to mention Sahara LOVED Dr. Shipley. Thanks again so much Dr. Shipley for your help!!!"
