Reviews
"Water is super chlorinated, and the homeless population has taken over most of the pavilions in the park. They are friendly folk, but it's frustrating to try to have a lunch when there are no shaded areas to sit. The splash pad has shade, but they request that you not eat there."
"Covered splash pad area. Good amount of picnic tables under rooftops. 3 separate playgrounds for toddlers, preschoolers, and older that are mostly shaded. Restrooms available but be mindful of homeless men. Ample parking."
"We come here pretty frequently during the summer. Pros: Splash pad is covered so there is shade and an area for parents to sit There's often kids from a near by school or day care that come as a group so there's always somebody else to play with There are several playscapes and swings for older kids and toddlers so it's really a great play area Several areas with picnic tables that are covered Cons: Sometimes the splash pad doesn't work during times when it should. The area around the splash pad and picnic tables could use some regular cleaning (picking up of trash and muddy leaves/brush) There is always several homeless people sitting under the picnic area where the bathrooms are. I've never seen them be an issue but it is a deterrent if i'm there alone w/my kid"
"They had a lovely shaded splash pad. The button restarted the water for us. My little one is a year and a half and he had so much fun! They have Port-O-potties but I didn't see a building with bathrooms. Drinking fountains and covered pergolas right next to the splash Pad. Perfect for a party. We'll definitely be back."
"Went with my toddler to check out the splash pad. I came in the morning so I had no trouble finding a spot in the parking lot. They just have a handful of the standard fountains that shoot up from the cement; none of the fancy configurations I've seen at other splash pads. I'm glad there was shade and a wall to sit. There was some interesting playground equipment including a wooden "bus" that the kid played in for a bit because he loves steering wheels."
