During construction a power line was covered. Jason had come out to look at our pump for us and realized the power was not hooked back up. "I got 2 quotes from 2 big pool builders and 1 from Greystone Pools. My project had to include a demo of a large wooden deck and the renovation of the upstairs balcony. The 2 big builders didn't want to deal with the demo and balcony work but Greystone Pools included all in the estimate and explained a plan that made sense to me. Greystone Pools also had a very strong referral from a FB group I joined to do research on building pools, while the big builders had mixed reviews, so I went with the company. So it turned out the owner of Greystone Pools is the project manager himself. I heard the experience with the big builders really depends on which project manager is assigned to. Anyway, the owner and the project manager, Jason, has been replying to my text messages within 3 mins all the way. Very happy with the communication and flexibility of planning the project including the extra stuff beyond pool construction. Another thing I noticed was Greystone Pools includes features the other big builders put as ‘upgrade’ items such as auto-fill, 3 LED lights (instead of others’ 2), and app/wifi controlled pump. We faced some challenges such as hitting big rocks to dig and extra fence/railing work required by the city, but the payment plan/amount stayed as the contract. I knew Austin is known for being tough on permits and inspections, so it wasn’t that surprising though. Anyway, we dug in April 2023 and filled water in July 2023. Texas heat delayed the plaster day for a few weeks in the process. This was the first pool build for me, but compared to my 9 months long house renovation I did 3 years ago, this was an easy breeze thanks to Jason’s prompt responses to my questions and transparent project management. Our family with 2 little ones are very happy with the pool and I am highly recommending Greystone Pools to my friends and neighbors."

"Building a pool is a long and at times seem stressful, trust I should know cause I have built two pools in my lifetime. But I can say that this process was way better the second time around. My first build was terrible pool builder cut corners never answer your call and left with completing the job. I ask myself why would I put myself thru this again but did my research and interview multiple contractors. We ended up going with Jason at Greystone Pools, he was keeping us inform and up to date with building process and use latest pool equipment and gear, never felt concern with the process even though we wish it could go faster but the weather never played nice lol.
