"The staff seemed bothered that I was there. My dog was having some kind of "attack". Shaking, panting, acting completely out of the ordinary and it came on all of a sudden. The vet looked at him for about 2 minutes, if that, and said she had no idea but we could do lab work but it would be very expensive. I just took him home. Took the same dog there almost a year before that with a leg injury. He wouldn't put any weight on it, whimpering and inconsolable. The vet messed with his leg and said it's probably not broke but we can do an xray, which again, "will be expensive". Did the xray and he had 2 fractures. I guess I'm happy that they are there but have some empathy and show some kindness and act like you care about what is happening. People aren't there just because they don't have anything better to do. There is no Medicaid for animals."
"Unfortunately had to visit earlier this week for a late night euthanasia. We (by chance) got right into a room. I come from 5 years in the vet field and am too familiar with the veterinarian shortage (everywhere, here is no exception). Thankful to have a doctor on staff the night we had to come. The receptionist (not sure of her name) and technician (Cassie) were phenomenal. Clean establishment although could use a little updating... The manager, Zeb, is wonderful. Please be patient and kind with people working here. I believe that some of the other reviews are completely valid for their experience(s) as it absolutely depends on what/who staff is the night you visit. I rated four stars because I have talked to people and heard their stories, good, and not so good. I can't speak about any diagnostics because I knew we weren't going to do them and it really is a case by case basis with which doctor is working. Payment is due at time of service because this is still a business and they can't operate for free. I didn't ask for a statement for when I paid, it didn't matter what it was, the service that we came for was necessary and provided tactfully. I hope I don't have to visit again, but am thankful that we have an ER clinic close to home."
"My 11 year old pup ran into some major health issues late on a Friday night. The staff at Tri County were absolutely AMAZING. They got us in quickly, addressed all of our concerns and helped immensely with diagnosis and treatment. They genuinely cared about my dog's welfare and made sure she was comfortable before we left. They made sure I understood the vet's instructions and encouraged me to call if she ran into any more problems. I'm not sure she would have made it through the weekend without their help. Truly fantastic staff."
"Words cannot express how grateful we are for the staff at Tri County Animal Hospital. Without the dedication of Dr. Whiteside and all of the staff that assisted, our dog would not have made it through the night. We are truly grateful to you for saving her life. You all are compassionate, understanding, and skilled. There's nothing we could do to repay you for what you did. -The Spangler's & Sugar"
"We run cat rescue and had pretty ill cat. A vet from Whitney Vet, Dr Meyers was on staff and was amazing with our foster cat. Efficient and explained everything. Sunny did great in surgery and we took him home that night and he is healthy and ready for his furever home very soon. The bill was actually less than I was quoted and seemed overall fair. I do wish the facility did not have such a prison look and feel. Could use a remodeling. All staff was kind and helpful"
