"Wolfe in sheep's clothing, CALVIN E. McGHEE owner. I'm ashamed to admit this senior woman has been scammed. the review is a bit long but I'm trying to help his next victim. It's been 1 month since estate sale and have not been paid. Will not return calls. Has1 helper, in crime, phone number. Responded & said she would contact him. Now she is not responding. He and his helper were so helpful at first and I appreciated them so much. Took him and a helper to lunch, paid them gas money for helping move from 1 storage building to another, gas money is all he asked for. I have a bill of sale and the persons name for a car that was sold at estate sale. Told Calvin I needed info on gentleman to fill out a form to Auto registration so I would not be responsible for the vehicle. I had no reason to not trust him and this foolish old gal gave him the signed title for the buyer to pick up and he said he would get the information. THE TURNING POINT ! ! When Tim, a helper came by to pick up the title, he said Calvin wanted me to bring your old money to look at and give estimate on what some of it what it was worth. I said no. Where the money goes I go. I also gave him old sports cards for someone he said lived in Burleson, TX. There is more but as I mentioned earlier this should help the next victims."

"Calvin McGhee-C&A Estate Sales is not to be trusted. Calvin makes commitments he doesn’t keep. Calvin agreed to sell items for us by consignment at his store, Springtown God, Silver, and More. He took possession of those items well over a year ago. First, the store wasn’t even open. Second, Calvin told us he would give us payment for each previous month’s sales, an accounting of the items sold monthly, or an update on the 1st of each month. Calvin never once reached out to us to give a payment, a list of items sold, or an update. Calvin never initiated contact with us for any reason. We would reach out to Calvin monthly asking about sales and/or payment or updates. Calvin rarely answered our communications without us badgering him to respond. Calvin rarely responded to us politely. He generally responded in a rude and beligerante manner. In the time Calvin-C&A Estate Sale has worked for us, we have received only one payment and that was a year ago in March 2022. We are convinced Calvin’s lack of response and engagement is merely an attempt to wait us out until we give up trying to get him to do as he was contracted to do and forget C&A Estate Sakes possessed our belongings. We are not the only customers to experience these issues with Calvin-C&A Estate Sales. We believe he has lied to us. He certainly has not lived up to the expectations he set up. Please, whatever you do, find someone else to handle your estate sales. Calvin McGhee-C&A Estate Sales will not be honest or do right by you. If you do not believe me, please check out the Better Business Bureau website where C&A Estate Sales has a rating of “F”. Look to other websites for reviews of C&A Estate Sales. Do your due diligence."
