"My wife and I are extremely thrilled with the finished product… the pool and outdoor kitchen exceeded our expectations and came out exactly as designed. From sales and design (Jordan) to build (Josh) were seamless. Jordan was excellent and listened to our needs regarding design and budget. As our project manager, Josh was extremely professional, never argued, listened and worked with us through the entire build. I would’ve given five stars; however, the project extended way too long. The extended timeline was primarily due to weather conditions, but a more strategic plan could’ve shortened the timeline. With saying that, we are thrilled with the outcome and I would highly recommend St. John Pools."

"Lowest quality pool builder. At day 1 excavation it rained, mud everywhere and the workers touched my patio furniture, bbq, and dewalt vacuum. Breakers blown throughout the day and was told no personal trash would be left in my yard, water bottles on the porch and in the yard. Equipment pad was so horribly poured I insisted it be redone and ended up doing it myself because the owner said there didn’t seem to be a problem with the pad they poured, look in the pictures and decide yourself. Every sub-contractor they hired just didn’t seem to care about the quality of work they were providing the customer of SJP. And know, SJP does not build your pool. They hire multiple sub-contractors in the local area to accomplish each phase of the build, with zero oversight of work conducted and zero accountability for botched work. I’d have been better off being my own contractor and hiring them myself and having eyes on each build phase. They hold their sub-contractors to zero accountability and provide an ugly product to their customers. AJ Synthetic turf was the only positive that came from our project and I salute them for bringing back my faith that some people actually care about people and their investments to their home. There were a few good people at SJP and they know who they are. Lastly, it’s unfortunate, but after researching pool building during my 4 month build, seems that all sub-contract work and when supply and demand is so great, quality takes a back seat. I highly advise reaching out to home owners and get their opinion. I’ll never again pay to have another pool put in. Issues in photos: Spilled PVC primer on my patio, unpolished granite top, uneven burner, unchaulked countertops, tile damaged during removal of edges, SOD delivered and threw on my door step, duct taped drainage pipe I had to come out of pocket $883 to fix, trash with food containers left in backyard for a month, equipment pad dropped towards the house/puddled water/blow out/form horribly constructed, framing to pool framing and skimmer crooked, fence was damaged, crooked drainage pipes, rust spots in the pool, grout hardened, dis coloration in plaster, and lastly, the bobcat pushed earth into my fence line causing drainage issues I had to pay out of pocket $2000 because I no longer trusted SJP to do anything in the proper manner it was supposed to be completed. I hired AJ Synthetic to level back out my earth and lay my sod. And had to come out pocket again $700 to move my gas line and on last day they tell me I need a new gas meter to turn on my pool heater. Each cost $350 and I still can’t turn on my heater. I hope your pool build goes better than ours did, good luck. And if you’re reviewing pool builders for your families pool and reading this, notice the response from owner, address any issues. Why in the heck should there be any issues to address if done right the first time, or even slight oversight and accountability was present during building. They’ll send out the same crew to address these issues that couldn’t get it done right the first time. This leaves you as the home owner and trusting customer to be even more frustrated and indignant than before they addressed the issue. The staff here are friendly and courteous, but the majority of the people hire to build your pool, kitchen, etc. have zero respect for you and the owners say they’ll “talk” to them, but nothing will change until subs are held 100% accountable for their work."

"I can't say enough good things about St. John Pools. They truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment we started planning our pool, they were on top of everything. The time frame they provided was spot on, and the planning was meticulous. What really set them apart was the level of cleanliness during the entire process. "I love the aesthetics and function that our new spa/pool provides. It is the focal point of our family and friends gathering especially on those hot humid Galveston days. One of the best features is the waterfall along with a state of the art kitchen. Now I never have to get out of the pool to eat a burger! Job well done Jacob! He was there from the beginning of the design, construction to the final touches. Always accessible. I can’t wait to use the heated spa/pool this winter!"

"We quoted with 5 companies and they were the best by far. From the moment of the first meeting until the end we had professional service and beautiful work. Jacob did an amazing job capturing our vision and being up front and honest, a quality we value greatly and we could not say of all of the competitors. Josh and team made the vision a reality coordinating each step. I have heard horror stories from our neighbors about what they went through with other companies and we had none of that. We even had a hiccup due to a builder issue from when our house was built and we were prepared because the team told us ahead of time things they have seen in our area. They are knowledgeable, friendly, dedicated and you will get a quality pool at the end. We had a hard deadline for our July 4th party and they made it happen for us. With a start in of April 20th after permitting, we were swimming in less than 3 months. I know each project is different but i would highly recommend them."
