"The older woman who is charge of ice lessons has a problem instructing boys who wear hockey skates. I am very disappointed in the quality of instruction and the fairness of treatment with respect to this program. Don't waste your money here."
"What makes it so special is the intergenerational locker room mingling. The Pekin community isn't large, but it is brotherly and fierce. Pekin sees little transient traffic and shares a parking lot with the highschool (and an even shorter schedule). Instead, locals embrace the exclusivity and dominate the ice with the intimacy of a cherished childhood playground."
"Wonderful facility for the young hockey players. The young kids that kept walking back and forth during the hockey match kind of ruined it. These young people seem to be there for the socialization rather than the match. I sat with an elderly lady who couldn't climb up into the higher seats. We missed about half the action. If they're going to get up and walk that much? They should sit near exit."
"Kids had a great time! It was our 1st time this year and I must say it was definitely warmer than in the past and love the new partitions you can actually see through. Way to go on your improvements Pekin Park!"
