Mary Lee's School Of Dance

"Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with this dance studio. We signed our girls up for an age appropriate class (7-11). Our girls are 7 & 9. I spoke to the owner prior to bringing them. I wasn’t informed this was not an entry level course. The girls in the class were extremely loud, hitting one another, & very clicky. The teacher did not address this throughout the class. The owner walked in because the class was so loud & attempted to correct the behavior. The instructor was extremely rude in her attempt to teach my girls. This was not an entry level class & the instructor was obviously irritated with my girls. At the end of the class she came to me in front of my girls & said “this class is not for them. They are obviously not at the right level for it.” All in all it was extremely disappointing compared to the lessons we took at Mary lees years ago. Additionally the classes are currently being held in the basement level of a church. It isn’t very clean. It’s very hard to see inside the dance rooms. The rooms themselves look very poorly put together. The classes are not cheap & money would be better spent somewhere else."

"Our whole family loves dancing at Mary Lee's. The owner Brooke is very professional, encouraging and fun. We enjoy taking classes with all the amazing teachers. There is a wide variety of dance genres, from hip hop to ballet. It's very fun being a part of this studio.""

Mary Lee and all of the instructors are very inviting and are wonderful with their students. Her music has always been appropriate along with the costumes and dance routines! Every year when I think the costumes couldn't get any cuter I'm surprised with each one! I will always highly recommend Mary Lee!! Thank you for the opportunities you have provided for Loretta!"

"Mary Lee is well-known in the area, and the studio has been around for more than 40 years!! The teachers share their passion of dance to all their students from 2 and up! Small classes= more one on one for the kids! Great place to check out if you are new to dance or have lots of dance training!!"
