"I tried taking our daughter here to try out the free class and had a bad experience. Our daughter (5) is shy/timid when first joining new classes. We came for the program and were welcomed in, the onboarding process was straightforward and polite. Facilities are clean. Seems like it would be good for older kids however they were not accommodating for a new younger child. The head teacher did not try to engage our daughter after she said she was scared and just told her to sit on the side and join in when she wants. We sat on the sidelines and tried to encourage her however the teacher did not make any additional effort in the 30min time period. When I tried to playfight with her so she gets interested in the class, the head teacher loudly told us to cut it out from across the room. Another event that made us not like this facility was the reception lady having a conversation about her not liking kids and how she would never have kids. Felt that this was inappropriate and can be seen from her attitude in how she didn't really seem to care (nor the teachers) about trying to engage a new student. We decided to leave after 30 mins and told the reception lady that our daughter did not participate and we would be leaving and the only response we got was "ok bye". Seems like its great for practical jiujitsu, but not very fun or engaging to children."

"The coaches keep our kids on BJJ point with their strict but respectful style of teaching and discipline. Our son who has ADHD and often struggles with attention and impulsively has obtained outstanding coaching and support! Even during this pandemic they have kept our kids focused and their skills honed through virtual classes."
