I say family because it truly is an extension of our family from the teachers and owner to the fellow dance parents and the other dancers that we spend so much time with. We could not have asked for a better situatuon. I have 3 girls in varying degrees of dance from kindergarten recital (core) classes to performance team and company. At each level the quality of instruction is outstanding. The teachers truly care about each student and work with them at the level they are at teaching more than just dance, but kindness, timliness, how to be a good competitor and teammate and so much more. They teach proper dance technique and dance moves. The music and costume choices are very tasteful and age appropriate and they always perform outstanding at competitions. The recitals are truly a show and well thought out (timing, theme, costumes and music). We are so happy we found sunshine and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dance home that wants more than sparkly costumes and props on stage."
