"I highly recommend Kim's Martial Art in Addison, IL. In 1994 I enrolled my son, then 8, into his studio. It's clear now, with Mr. Kim's guidance, Taekwondo helped him through his journey to adulthood. Mr. Kim is a strong leader teaching the values of respect, honor, patience, morals and perserverance along with self-defense. He also maintains harmony in each students relationship during class. On a personal note, these values allowed my son to not only reach his goal as a black belt, but to also reach his goal as a doctor. When applying to Medical school he wrote his thesis of why he wanted to be a doctor based on the lessons he learned in Taekwondo and Mr. Kim. The values he learned kept him mindful to stay on a straight path so he could reach his passion to helps others. Today my son is 36 years old and a Gasterenterologist. Thank you Mr. Kim for teaching him perserverance and more!"
"Been going here for 5 years. GrandMaster Kim has been a 3rd Grandfather to my 3 boys. Family atmosphere, great teacher."
"I first heard of Kim's Martial Arts school from my father who became a black belt from here and then in my efforts to keep my grandson active we both enrolled and after an injury outside in the snow I had to quit but now that I'm better I will be returning. My grandson is now a junior black belt and on his way to becoming a black belt at 13 yrs old. I luv the teachings and Charles is the best instructor aside from Master Kim.... I definitely recommend this school for everyone!!!"
"My experience with Kim’s Martial Arts has been fantastic! I am 45 years old and have been a student here for a little over 2 years. My only regret is not joining years ago. After years of watching my daughter train, I was approached by Grand Master Kim about joining. It was something I always wanted to do but was concerned I would not be able to keep up the pace with the much younger students. However, Grand Master Kim assured me I would be fine. From the beginning Master Charles dedicated lots of personal attention to ensure I was comfortable with the curriculum. Before long I had noticeable improvements in strength and flexibility. Today, I am stronger, more flexible, and healthier than I was in my early 20’s. I even participate in the sparring classes and compete in tournaments; something I thought I was too old to do. Above all other positive experiences I have had here, the bond my daughter and I have formed training together is something words cannot express. I am forever grateful to Grand Master Kim, Master Charles, and my fellow students."
"Not sure who this Greg dude that gave one star but I understood the contract when we signed up. Yeah he doesn’t speak English as well as others but when you sign a contract for 12 or 36 months you are bound by its deal. Sounds like dude was salty and now has to bash his business. Well you go there yourself and check it out. Gym is clean as can be and the the kids loves the class. They even have a news anchor woman from CBS that goes here. I recommend this place 100%. My son loves it here."
