"Me, my son and his family, including 6 boys, ages 2-14 and my 13 year old granddaughter went and we all had a blast! One dark haired young life guard in particular went above and beyond the call of duty to retrieve the basketball for the family! The entire staff was excellent!"

"Please bring back public swim hours. This was the best pool within 50 miles of Cape Girardeau. Plus they did not blast country music 24/7. I REALLY miss this pool!I was going to buy season passes for my self and my grandkids this year."

"Had my grandsons birthday party there last weekend & we all had a blast! I hadn't been in "the bubble" since I went to high school there in the 80s. I have gone several years ago in the summer tho when the bubble wasn't up. We always have fun at the pool!"

"Went here for my niece's birthday party & I would not recommend using Cape Parks & Rec pool for a party. Not only was nothing setup or reserved out for the party, they tell her mother that the party is not even on the calendar even though she reserved it weeks ago. Thank goodness mom had the paperwork showing the party was reserved for that day. Some tables were quickly put together on the lawn but the staff/manager acted inconvenienced by it. Then, upon calling the next day, the upper manager acted put out & unapologetic. Shameful!"

"My son has a wonderful time when we go. The lifeguards are always friendly and really watch out for the kids. Having said that, my only complaint would be that some of the older kids and adults don't have a filter with their language and actions even when small children are present."
