"The experience using them for taxes was not the worst, they were expedient and completed my taxes in only a few days, however I was quickly sent a notice from the IRS after my taxes were submitted- turns out their software accidentally calculated excess social security payments and my return was several thousand dollars less. I had to call again and again because after tax season the office closes most of the week and trying to get this whole situation sorted out has been a nightmare. The last time I spoke to Don, he assured me I would receive a check as well as written follow-up from H&R block in the mail in the following week, and it has been about a month now. I have continued to call again and again and have not been able to reach anyone and have no idea where I stand after receiving the IRS notice over 2 months ago! If you are going to spend money to have your taxes done I highly highly recommend going elsewhere, any small accounting firm would be more professional and easier to communicate with than this branch of Block Advisors."

"If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. Our advisor was nice but she did not know what she was doing. My husband watched her google where she should be putting information from our W-2 into the system. All she did was put information in. She was late for our appointment and she spent probably 30 minutes trying to put some information into the system and it wasn’t working so she had to call in multiple other advisors and finally after being there for over an hour informed us that she wasn’t going to complete it for us that evening and that she wouldn’t be back to work on it for days. For someone who googled answers and couldn’t even complete it at our appointment it was almost $350. We paid $350 for someone to google how to do her job. I am beyond disappointed and will NEVER be coming back to an HR Block or Block Advisor ever again."
