"I sent multiple pets I found on the street here They are really accepting even though I never went in older brother did they never took the carrier instead they just took the pets i normally found cats or small dogs last time I found one they had a microchip and they called me back and said The dog had a home and they found their home again All thanks to me So yeah they're very good facility please if you find stress on the street try to take them to the facility to check if they have microchips or the vet don't just go to a regular shelter and just leave them there does the worst thing you can ever do to a stray as they don't know where they are"

"I took my old dog to be euthanized on 1-10-24. IT WAS AWFUL! I beg you, don’t use this facility to have your loving pet put down! First, they take you to a side building. Then when you go in, the place is cold. There is a loveseat and a blanket on the floor. Next, they leave you alone to go get paperwork. You pay for there service and they leave you alone again. A time goes by and two girls come in. They really didn’t explain what there plan was so I started asking questions Everything was so vague and impersonal. I should have known than that something wasn’t right. She gave my baby a shot in the backside that caused a horrific scream of pain that lasted for way to long. I asked what they did and they said they had to sedate her. I couldn’t believe how uncaring they were about causing such pain to my dog! It took at least 20 long, cold minutes for Sophia to be completely sedated. Then they couldn’t find a vein to put the death needle in. Finally they gave her the shot and I waited at least another 10 minutes and my baby was still breathing in my arms. I asked again what is going on and they said they had to give her another shot. They found a different vein and gave her another shot! This one took affect within minutes and Sofia was gone. The whole process took more than 45 minutes. 45 awful minutes. What I really need to get across to anyone thinking about using this facility is PLEASE DON’T!!! It would have been more merciful for me to put a bullet to her head in her backyard! Less painful and stressful for her and me. I’ve had other old animals euthanized in my many years, and NEVER did I or my pet ever go thru something this cruel!"

"Had kittens to drop off mom cat left them at my boyfriends house in town but cause I don't have iowa ID they wouldn't take them in even though they came from Iowa all shelters should take any animal no matter where they came from if they are in need they are in need."

"We attended their annual (and biggest fundraiser) auto show with 117 cars, jeeps, and trucks! Wow!! There were door prizes for the people showing their vehicles, a 50/50 drawing, a silent auction, and all sorts of donated baskets & prizes being raffled off! There was a BBQ food truck with great brisket, too! It was a fun afternoon!"
