"What an absolutely awful company to deal with. Their insured is 100% at fault, they sent me to one of their sketchy preferred body shops, who returned my vehicle with a blown engine! If you have an auto claim with them, and have to deal with Nichole Shipler, know in advance that she will call from a line that is not recorded and insult you, judge your character, and make false accusations, all to save the company a few bucks on repairs. The company seems to reward this type of unprofessional behavior, there are complaints of this very nature about her here going back several years, yet she is still employed and abusing victims of their insureds negligence. All I wanted was to get my vehicle back in the same condition it was in prior to the collision, but they refuse to do the right thing. Also, if they send their appraiser out, be aware that he is employed by Hanover, biased, and lazy. His "appraisal" of my vehicle included walking around it once and opening the hood. He couldn't even be bothered to start or drive it to determine if the mechanical issues were related to the loss. He made that determination by looking at the front end, and under the hood briefly, and referencing google. I'm no expert, but it seems like mechanical issues would only be diagnosed if the car was actually turned on, but he's the "expert." This company isn't out to make things right. They don't care about you or your best interest. They will attempt to mentally destroy you and leave you with nothing. I encourage everyone who has similar issues with them to file complaints with the insurance commissioner in the state where your loss occurred."
"Received a notice that they were dropping our coverage due to a no fault accident. A crazy, uninsured lady with a revoked license decided to make a left turn across 4 lanes of traffic without looking at traffic. You decide if you want to deal with a headache of an insurance company in that situation."
"They drop you if you make claims, even if some crazy lady without a license runs into you and you have no fault in the accident, they'll drop you fast. They also doubled our rates. This is a 3rd rate insurance company. Don't bother using them."
"If I could provide zero stars I would. This organization is the definition of unethical. At closure of my account, which was done so for almost DOUBLING my rates compared to market, my account was withdrawn $1150 3 months after my account was closed. There was NO authorization provided for this payment. During my tenure with them, I incurred a vast array of issues. This is an organization you do NOT want to use when you are at your point of having soe of your highest needs in life."
"They don't care that their client admitted liability and wants the claim paid. They asked for a witness and I provided my wife who was the only person around when I went into anaphylactic shock. She had to run to my truck to get my EpiPen. Thank God she was able to. They took her stated after asking for a witness. Then the adjuster did not answer or return phone calls for a day. I called back the next day and she tells me that my wife's statement was bias. She continued to imply that I was lying. The store Horrocks mislabeled some muffins. I ate them and collapsed and was unable to breathe. They are refusing to settle because I did not go to the hospital. Although my doctor says there was no reason to because the EpiPen did its job! I requested to speak to a supervisor and I have not gotten a call back and I have left messages hours ago. I guess she should have went outside and knocked on neighbors doors at 9pm and pray I was still alive so she could administer the EpiPen with witnesses. I will remember that for next time! If I survive!"
