"I went to the ER tonight for chest pain. The doctor was super nice even though it was like midnight. He listened to my symptoms and was very thorough. and the nurse Nicole was FANTASTIC! she was able to get my iv in in one go. it took about 3 seconds and she was done. she was super nice and helpful!"
"Rn, Ellie was wonderful. My five year old was in the hospital today very sick and very scared. She made him feel comfortable, talked to him so kind and even let him put on gloves to help her take swab tests. She was very patient with us and very helpful."
"I'm in the ER waiting room at the moment with my 59 year old mother. She is wheelchair bound and had a fall on concrete to which she had hit the back of her head on a ledge at 12:00 PM. We came by ambulance to the ER, and were rejected and sent to the wait room. We have been in the wait room since about 1:00 PM, and it is now 5:00 PM. The PCRs do not care that my mother has had a head injury, her condition is worsening. She cannot see anymore, she has a major headache, and her eye hurts. We were told we're first in line to go back since 2:00 PM, but because we're going to "a different zone in the ER," I've seen at least 7 people go back while we are stuck waiting. In a past experience, my mother had a psychotic episode and was abandoned in the waiting room of the ER after only 20 minutes of being treated in the ER. She was abandoned with no underwear and a revealing patient gown in a wheelchair surrounded by strangers. The ER nurses would not even wait 15 minutes for me to come to pick her up before dumping her."
"After MU takeover, very bad administrative decisions have been made. Fewer people available to check in out-patient, but now requiring ALL people to provide ALL ID and insurance EVERY SINGLE DAY. This is horrible choice especially for daily infusion, other "frequent patients " who are in hospital or out-patient status even monthly. It MIGHT make sense for everyone who has not been patient in last 3 or 6 months. But NOT daily. Certainly not without properly staffing the desks to handle the increased workload. My mom and I arrived 25 minutes before her 1030am appointment. At 1028am, I had to mention that she had 1030am appointment to get her seen. Then another 10 minutes to get through the check in process. Very poor management!"
